Thank you to anyone who can assist me with this. When I
left the house last night, my laptop (with Windows 2000
Professional) was FINE. When I returned and my 18 y.o.
had been on the laptop while I was gone, the desktop icons
were all in the middle of the desktop page with a huge
black area all around the screen. I fixed that by going
to Display and changing the Pixel size (which I have NEVER
had to do before). Now, if I click on Internet Explorer,
AOL, Games, etc, everything is in very small blocks, i.e.
instead of AOL being full screen size after I log on, the
Welcome Screen is very small in the middle of the page and
all other items are extremely small as well. Does anyone
know how to get this laptop back to the way it was BEFORE
I left the house last night? I work from home for the
government and this laptop holds ALL of my documents...I
am scared that something has been deleted (although no one
will admit that they did anything at all to it). Thank
you SO much for any help....Jeri

What about the settings you can make on your monitor housing (to move the
display area right, left, up, down, narrower, wider, etc.) And if that kid was
mine, I'd put super glue on all the keys just before he does it again.
