Change Name in XP?

I have a computer running winxp. How can I change the name of who owns
it? In other words, how can I take my name off it without having to
reinstall it again, or is it even possible?

Hey Peter,

Just edit your details out of the registry.

start/run
regedit

click on the edit menu and select find

Enter either part of the registered name or company, and hit return.
when you locate it just double click on the value in the right hand pane to
edit it.
It can appear in several places so search right through to the end.
