Change name in Docs and Settings

I installed Win XP home using a name; I wish to remove that name (person will
not be using the computer); I changed the username in Control Panel/User
Accounts (now login name is the new one). However, the original name is still
in Explorer under Docs and Settings. How can I change this name to reflect
the NEW username, and remove the original name completely?

As you have discovered, changing the user account name does not change
the underlying files/folders. You need to make a new user account and
copy over the data from the old account (if so desired); then delete
the old account. Here is a link explaining the process:

Copy a User Account -

You will need to log into the new account once before you can copy
anything to it.

Create a new profile with the name you want, login to it at least once,
copy the data from the old profile, then delete the old one.
