For a variety of reasons I'd like to be able to change the default
location of the "My Documents" folder in WinXP Pro, SP2. Is there a way
(or a utility program) to do that easily?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Simply do as following:

Right click on "My Documents" icon on your desktop, click on properties,
make a change in the "Target folder location" inputbox, then click on OK.

When prompted, select Yes if you want to move the files in your current My
Documents folder to the new directory.

Right click My Documents, Properties, Target. In Target folder location,
select Move.

There are at least three different ways. Here'a another one:
Select in Windows Explorer > Cut > Paste into the desired location.
BTW, all related registry entries will be adapted automatically.

Thanks to all of you. I HAVE TweakuiXP, but I guess I never knew that
could help. I ALSO like the idea of having the system move the files
for me.

Thanks again.
