change htlm editor?

i want to use word as my editor, I have checked under (tools, internet options, tab for programs) and the only options are excel and notepad.

it may be possible to get word as editor without the script file. open ie
and get a web page. save page to say "my documents". close ie. open word .
go to options and find web options...make sure set to ie6 or above. find
files option and make sure all checked. now open the saved file in word.
should get a msg that word not editor do you want word to be editor...say
yes. after opens saved doc. close word. open ie and
tools...option....html...see if word selected or a choice. should be[ 90%
odds)
