Change font color on click?

LeAnne

Hi all,

Is there any way to change the font color of selected bulleted items in
a Text Box as an effect? I have a slide with two text boxes each
containing about 8 bullets. I would like to be able to change the font
color on 1-2 items within each list to emphasise certain bulleted items
as I give my spiel..."The key components I'll be focusing on in my talk
today are yada yada yada." It seems like this should be easy to do via
Custom Animation, but that will only allow me to set effects for an
entire text box, not for individual items in the list. I really don't
want to have to make a separate text box for each item listed. Any help
would be appreciated. Using PPT97.

Rightclick in the text whose bullet you want to change and choose Bullets and
Numbering from the popup menu.

In the dialog box that appears, choose the bullet color you want (near the
bottom of the dialog box).

Click "OkeyDokey". Or buttonwords to that effect.

That should voi the la.

Only problem is if you are truly using Text Boxes. What Steve has suggested
will work for individual bullets in PPT 97 placeholders, but not for Text
Boxes. If you want this functionality for individual bullets in text boxes,
you need to upgrade to PPT 2002 or 2003.
