change display size?

Is there a way to make your web page sense the resolution of the machine it
is being browsed on and adjust itself accordingly?

I'm finding that it displays fine on my screen, but when viewed on a smaller
one the pictures are still the same size which means the user has to scroll.

I'd like for everything to automatically adjust.

I'm using Front Page 2003.

If your web design is within tables, you need to have the table width set to
100%, rather than a fixed width. If it's NOT in tables, it will adjust
automatically.

as a P.S. - you should ALWAYS make your web "ready" in 800 x 600 resolution.
Simply select File, Preview in Browser - there should be an option for the
800 x 600 for at least one of the browsers you have set up. Logically
thinking, if you have an image that is 800 pixels wide, and anything like a
leftward navigation, you can be sure there will be a horizontal scrollbar in
800 x 600 resolution.

When designing, make sure the total pixel width is not wider than 770 pixels
to allow for the vertical scrollbar AND for viewers in the lower resolutions.
