Change delay between two slides in PowerPoint?

Hi, Does anyone know how to delay the transition between two slides in a
PowerPoint presentation? I just want to change the timing (delay) between two
slides, not the entire presentation. Thanks!

Are you referring to the timing under Advance slide?
If you change the advance slide timing, do NOT click Apply to All.
That will apply only to the current slide.
Is that what you are referring to?

I tried changing the timing under Advance slide. I increased the delay by as
much as 10 seconds. (I didn't check apply to all slides) and it still didn't
change the timing delay between the two slides.

Thanks for getting back to me. Lee

I've since gone back in and set the transition timing to 5 seconds, clicked
on "apply to all slides" and it still has no impact on any part of the
presentation. I'm starting to wonder if my PoerPoint program is having some
issues.

Initially, all I wanted to do was delay the transition between two
consecutive slides by about three seconds. Grrrrrrrrrr!

You did not answer my question as to whether the items on the slide have
event timings

I've got a sneaking suspicion that I'd like to know half of what you've
forgotten about PowerPoint. Thanks for your hrlp!
