change default view

I have several drop down list boxes on a form. I would like to change the
view to a form from continuous form to single form based upon which drop down
list box is selected. I am unable to find the code but I know a single form
= 0.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I know about the numbers, etc. my question is what code to I use to
reference a difference view? For example, I have a name drop down list box.
don't want the form to show continus form for other names besides the one
select in the list box. I have other drop down list boxes that will generate
a list of data so I need the 'view' to be continuous form, not single form.

My question is, what is the code to enter on the 'before update' on the drop
down list box, that I would use to change the view of the sub-form, depending
upon which drop down list box is selected.

Don't think that's possible as such AFAIK
You can however have two controls with the same subform open in different
views & toggle their visible state

I ended up created more than one subform and the viewed the appropriate one
after selecting from a drop down list box.
Thanks anyway though!
