change default "table style light 9" and register

I like default "table style light 9" except the inside border, is it possible to
add the inside border to the "table style light 9"?

Hi,

Not quite sure what you want. But if you want vertical lines, then with the
table selected choose Table Tools, Design tab, and check Banded Columns. If
this is good enought then you can add this command to your QAT by
right-clicking it and choose Add to Quick Access Toolbar.

If what you really want to do is modify the table style, that is quite a bit
more challenging:

1. Choose Home, Format as Table, right-click on the table style light 9 and
choose Duplicate.
2. In the resulting dialog box you can customize any portion of the style
you want
3. Note the Set as default table quick style for this document check box at
the bottom.
4. Give your style a nice name are proceed with modifications
5. Once you have created a custom style it will be listed at the top of the
Table Styles drop down.

I warn you that this is a very tricky areas, some formats don't seem to
stick but they do is you work at it and figure out how they operate.
