rectangle border color problem

OK, this is minor but annoying. Access 2003, drawing boxes on a form. I
select border color=0 (black), border style=solid, border width=1pt or 2pts,
no difference, and still the rectangle displays as a shade of gray, somewhere
between the default gray form color and true black. Can anyone shed some
light on this?

I think that's just a property of those damn boxes. A remedy, although
tedious, is to use the line object and draw your own box. A line at 1 pt
shows black, whereas a box at 1pt is gray....
