My daughter wants me to download commet cursor to change
our cursor to look like a puppy. I will not let her
download commet cursor because of all the adware/spyware
that comes with it.

I am trying to find a software to purchase or a safe
download that will allow her to change our cursor to a

You're wise to steer clear of Comet Cursor. Maybe this program comes close
to what you're looking for: http://www.stardock.com/products/cursorxp/

You should be able to find some already made cursors to download and use
too. A search on google should turn up several sites where these are
available.
