Change Contacts to default for address search

Using 10.2327.6626 SP3 Outlook in Win XP

I would like to have contacts file as defaule search file in lieu of PAB

Can this be changed?

You shouldn't be using the PAB as it is obsolete. All your contacts should
be in, well, your Contacts folder. Remove the PAB service from your
profile. Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or
address books>Next. Select the Personal Address Book service and click
Remove.
