I have been using a briefcase on my PC synchronised to a USB stick. The
stick used to be drive O: but is now drive P: (I added a partition to a
harddrive). Does anyone know how I can correct my briefcase to synchronise
to the stick now? When I try I get the message "Some files in the Briefcase
have sync copies that are inaccessible..."

(assuming you can't get to the files you need right now)
You are going to have to play a little 'musical chairs' with the drive
letters.

start/run, type DISKMGMT.MSC
You can rightclick the a drive letter, and one item is 'change drive letter'.
Your new partition is now what you want, so change O: to Z: or whatever,
then change P: to O:, and now Z: to O. (Stop the music:)

Save the files.

Play 'musical chairs' again, if you think you want that.

Now that the removable is what you want, create a New briefcase, copy the
files in, and delete the old briefcase.

Thanks Mark.

Guess I should have thought of that! I searched the registry for some means
of associating the Briefcase with P: - obviously too much to hope for.

I'll know for next time...
