The splash screen can be changed by creating a bmp file with the exact same
name as your database file and storing it in the exact same location as your
database file.

In addition. Make the bmp 1 pixel in size and you will not see a splash
screen. Furthermore you can make your own splashscreen on startup of your
switchboard and use the timer event to show this splash screen (with version
and/or database information) for a few seconds. Send me a email (remove the
remove text in the email) and i'll send you an example.
