Change background colour of a specific field in current record

The form is based on orders placed by a certain date. I have a tickbox on
this form when a specific order on that date has ben paid.

What I would like to do is the following:

When I tick a specific record as being paid, I would like to changet he
background colour of the date in that record only to red.

Assuming Access 2000 or later, you can use conditional formatting:

1. Open the form (report?) in design view?

2. Select the date field that you want to change colour.

3. Choose Conditional Formatting on the Format menu.

4. Set Condition 1 to:
Expression ... [IsPaid]
and click the red in the bucket icon.

(Substitute the name of your yes/no field for IsPaid.)
