Change a Menu Tool Bar OEM default

My computer uses Windows 98 SE and MS Office 2000.

RE: MS Word 2000

Which OEM default most be changed so the X icon (close) does not appear in
the Menu Tool Bar?

It's probably loaded from an Addin which is a template that is located in
the Word Startup directory.
