Change a Key

Hi..
I want to change a key on my keyboard. I do not want to change the
entire keyboard, just one key. Can it be done, and if so, how?
I really want to reverse what prints when I depress the "\" key. I want
it to print "|". I don't want to have to use the "shift" key every time
I use the "|" key.

Thanks for the info.
MICROSOFT seems the best bet.
Keyboard Magic book states that it does not work with XP.
I am running XP PRO.
