chalowa's cd burning problem!!

every time a wish to burn a cd i constantly recieve the message"no sound
recorder detected press f-5 to refresh the player! it happens with both roxio
and WMP! can anybody help me with this problem please!
 
yes all 3 drives are listed...floppy drive, dvd, and cd drive!....running
windows 2000 pro. any suggestions please?
