Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate any help you could give me here.
I have an iPAQ Pocket PC and really want to increase the memory on it, mainly for media files, but also in general.

It has a slot for both SD and CF cards and I have no idea which one would be better to use, they both seem to be similar prices, only noticeable difference is the smaller size of an SD card.

Also, my iPAQ has windows media player and I can download music files onto it, but I can't download video files onto it, any idea why?

Thanks!

You should be able to download media files, but you might need a different media player. Try searching on google for "BetaPlayer", I use that and it works fine :)

I'd recommend SD cards for the memory, because:
  • As you say they are smaller, so easier to carry etc...
  • Conpact Flash cards are often used for Modems/Network and other expanstions (which is rare for SD), so if you ever decide to get one of these you can still have your expanded memory :)
Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot Ian, i'll get an SD card.
Do you know any good websites for downloading trustworthy games and other software?

Thanks a lot, really appreciate all this help.
Any bargain SD cards on the internet or are they generally the same price everywhere?
