Certificate Server Problems

We HAD a certificate server installed on a member server.
Now, the Cert. Server has been installed however, we are
getting errors from 3 child domain controllers. Looks as
if they are looking for the CA but can't find it. Event
ID 101, source "winlogon". "Automatic enrollment against
the certification authority Childrens National Medical
Center for a certificate of type DomainController has
failed. (0x800706ba) The RPC server is unavailable.
.. Another certification authority will be tried. "
Please note, not all DCs are getting this error, just a
few. I also see the server that was the CA under Sites
and Services, Public Key services, CDP. Nothing was
configured on the DC side to use the certificates. So
what was done automatically to start this or more
importantly, how do stop these errors?

Typo - Certificate server was UNinstalled.
