Certificate Authority Problem

D

David Bolt

I was working through the "publishing a windows server 2003 certification
authority web enrolment site and certificate revocation list" document from
the ISA VPN Deployment Kit. Got to the paragraphs about identifying the
location of the CA CRL and configuring the URLs for the revocation let etc.
Noted the URL from the certificate then deleted the default CRL info, as
directed, then input the literal URL previously noted. I then attempted to
restart the Certificate Services, only to get the following error: Cannot
Find Object or Property. 0x80092004 (-2146885628)
I attempted to put back the original http URL but that made no difference.
Win2k Server, ISA Server 2000
Any ideas
Dave

I'll check that immediately.
Thanks,

It would be best to start with this guide and see where you are running into
a problem. This doc provides great examples and steps for verifying proper
configuration:

Unfortunately this was less helpful then expected since it refers to a tool
which is not available on this particular Win2000 server.
I have made some progress however when I uninstalled and reinstalled the
certificate server.
Thanks
Dave
