Certain servers won't load

I'm having trouble accessing a few webpages on my personal
computer, specifically www.dvdfile.com and
www.mbnanetaccess.com. When I type those URLs in my
address bar and hit enter (as I do for every other
webpage), the status bar indicator goes very slowly and
eventually I get the message "The page cannot be
displayed." Now I know that there isn't a problem with
the pages being down, because I can get on a family
member's computer and access the pages at the same time
mine won't load them. I have Internet Explorer version
6.0.2800.1106 and 128-bit security. I'm running Windows
98. I could access these pages before, but in the past
few weeks they have suddenly stopped working on this
computer. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

If you did not create the file, then you may have parasites, or you are
using a web accelerator program that would be causing this problem.

Clear your Temporary Internet Files (TIF).

Tools/Internet Options. Under Temporary Internet Files, Click delete, delete
all off line content.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
