Cents Sign

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.
Look for the ¢ sign, click on it to enlarge, click copy, then paste in your
desired document.

What program are you executing when you want to use it?
Word, Excel, etc.??
 
Yes, I realized that when the alt + 0162 would not work on my notebook.
