Hello

Is there a possibility to configure the autoarchive settings for my outlook
folder via registry.
i have only found the possibility to configure the AutoArchive Standard
Settings
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences]

, but no way to configure the settings via registry or gpo for each standard
folder (eg. ToDO´s, Calendar, sentitems,.....)

WHen i try to capture the changes in the registry i can see that the key for
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Office Explorer]
Namespace will change.

If i will import this changes to registry - it would not make any changes in
the outlook autoarchiv settings for each of the folders.

Do have any ideas ?

Best regards
Wilfried

No, these settings are stored within the pst-file or mailbox and are not
exposed.

Tips of the month:
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
-Creating a Permanent New Mail Desktop Alert in Outlook 2003

What you can do, though, with group policy is use retention settings to supplement the archive settings. It's probalby not as granular as you want, but it's a start.
