Cell Format

What is the code in >format Cells for

297m²

ie #,##0 "m????"

The "squared" symbol has been inserted via the Insert>Symbol method but I
can not copy and paste into the Formatting Cells code box.

Any Ideas?

Wayne,

try the custom format:

#,##0 "m²"

To get the "squared" symbol you should hold down ALT and type 0178 on
the numeric keypad (don't use the numbers on the main keyboard).
