Steve

Each time I enter a whole number into a cell it
automatically multiplies itself by 10. No matter what
format I use in the cell ( general, number currency etc..)
e.g. 10 becomes 100
If I enter a whole number with a decimal point at the end
it is o.k. e.g. 10. become 10 or 1.25 1.25 is 1.25
This problem has only ocurred since I upgraded to Office
Small Business for XP. Prior to that I could enter a
whole number and it stayed there !
Any thoughts?

Hi Steve
have a look at 'Tools - Options ' Edit' and uncheck 'Precision as
displayed'
