CD's

Ijust purchased a new computer with the Windows XP
operating system. I have many CD's (pictures) burned with
an Adaptec Easy CD Creator using Windows 98. This
software has incompatibility problems with XP so I didn't
attempt to install it. Some of the
CD's burned with the old computer are unreadable on the
new computer. It indicates that the disc is empty but I
know it was readable beforeI got the new computer. My old
computer crashed. The tech says I need a new hard drive,
so I can't view the pictures there. HELP!

I don't think that this is a XP/W98 problem. There are more
than a few CDROM's that are not compatable with each other.
Especially drives that are installed on propriatory PC's.
