CDRW Problems

Got a Liteon 48x and a Philips 48x burner, problem is that whenever I put a
data cd in after booting up the PC it reads it no problem at all BUT if I
eject the cd and put in another one it still shows the contents of the
previous cd, weird. Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it as I hate
having to reboot for every cd.

TIA

I am sorry I can't help but I've got the same problem using Windows XP-home
edition and Easy CD Creator 5 Basic so I am watching this newsgroup with
interest.

I am hoping someone can help us
TIA

Not all that educated on XP but is the CD-ROM set on >take no action<? or
similar.
Doesn't >refresh< bring up the latest CD-ROM inserted?
I'm interested as well as I have had this happen earlier in my XP installs
but all fine now. I never did find out why.

Not sure what the proper fix is for this, but I used a workaround that at
least allowed me to refresh the display. Eject the cd and then select the CD
drive in windows explorer. It should ask for a cd to be inserted (if it
doesn't, press F5 to force a refresh). Insert the cd and it should then read
the contents.
