My CDRom won't open CD's, it won't even acknowledge that they're even in
there.

Go to 24hoursupport.helpdesk newsgroup and post your problem there. Please
be more specific as the more details you give, the better the help you'll
receive. What Windows version are you using?, what is the brand of your CD
ROM drive, etc. When did it start happening and did you do anything like
install a new program or update before this started?
