I'm trying to remove (Start/ControlPanel/Add/Remove Software)CDBurner Pro
but Windows can't find it in its designated folder. So its listed as there
but can't be found or removed. I want to remove it because it hasn't worked
since April 05.
thanks
John

Hi John&Chris,
Right click on the Start Icon on the Desktop and select Properties and on
the Menu click Taskbar Button,go down and click Customize in the list of all
programs listed you will see the CD Burner and beside it Hide when Iactive
select Show always and close, because it gone to the unused Programs Folder
so you can't see it in control panel, reboot and see,if you can see it in
control panel,if n't open the Wins Explorer and you will find it listed in
Programs select it and see if have uninstall utility in the right pane.
Good luck, please write back and let me know how you got on.

I'll expand on my first post. When I try to open CDBurner Pro, or install
a new copy which I downloaded from the net, I get the message 'The feature
you are trying to use is on a network device that is no longer available'.
Despite its size 25.75mb I can't locate it either.
thanks
John

Hi John&Chris,
Where you can read or locate the Size,is it in control Panel, did you delete
the Uninstall driver which came with the Software, anyway, there 're another
way hard one,try to locate it in the Explorer or in Find Files&Folders on the
Start Desktop, and when you locate it press Shift Key+Delete to delete the
whole Folder, then go to Registry and Right click in the left pane and select
Find, then type in the Box the name of the program in lowercase and Delete any
Values or Folder belong to this Software, but becarefull in the Registry if
you are n't sure just do the Shift+Delete and the Rest will be overwritten by
the System, and I hope it didn't leave behind Legacey Drive.
Hope that helps, please write back to the group.
