CD_ROM Issues

Hello All,

I have a system with three (3) CD-ROM Drive installed. (IDE)
DVD Reader
DVD Writer
CDRW

If I put ANY CD into ANY drive, Windows sees the lable and will show this in
explorer. But if the CD is removed, and there is no CD in the drive, or a
different CD is put in the drive, explorer still sees the previous CD Title.
I am able to explore the content correctly, but windows still thinks it is a
different cd.

Any clues on how to fix this?

last line says it all: new different cd can still be explored correctly.
Sounds like an icon cache issue, where the prev cd's icon is preserved in
the cache and not updated. It's a visual problem only. I've experienced
it myself. But, as long as the new cd's contents are correctly determined
then it's a minor issue.
