CD writing

My windows XP is no longer recongnizing writable (CD-RW/CD-R) roms. I always
get the message of read-only and in case of blank CD-R "Drive is
inaccessible".

I'm in trouble, and am seeking help to resolve this.

You might also check properties of the drive in Windows Explorer and see if
the drive is enabled for recording on the recording tab.
