I was tried to write some pictures to a cd, but it would not work, it said
there was not enough room on the cd. All my pics have an arrow showing they
are ready to be written. I would like to know how to undo it. Everytime i
turn on my pc it says i have files waiting to be written. Can anyone help me
please?

Hi Barbie,

Try this right click properties on your D: drive if that is where your CD is
and it will tell you how much room is left on the CD and how much capacity
was used.
The bubble that comes up click on it and a window will come up. It will show
you all the files or shortcuts or folders that are waiting to be written to
the CD. If it does not show much then you can just delete what they call the
temporary files.
But it is possible your pictures may be waiting for you there.

Hi Barbie,

Delete the contents of this folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\CD Burning

Thanks Alan, when i clicked on the cd properties, it showed a blank cd with o
bytes.
I'm not sure what to do next. If i delete the temporary files, will it
delete all my pics that i have stored on my hard drive?

Have you installed SP2? If so look at the following:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;883523

This is a problem with SP2. "imap" from SP2 has a fault in it. No
recording to a new CD-R or CD-RW because it is shown as full. Microsoft is
aware of the problem.
