CD Writing Wizard

I bought this computer sometime ago, and the CD Writing
Wizard has never worked. I have an eMachines T1120 with
Windows XP Home Edition. Every time it tells me there is
no disc in the drive and to insert a writable disc into
the drive. I've tried writing to several different brands
of CD-Rs, but with no success. Is there some option I
need to enable to be able to write to a CD?

Forgive me for being slightly vague, I'm not a
technological genius. :)

Are you shure cd writing is enabled on your drive?
To check-go to My Computer, Right click on the cd
drive,Properties and then got to the tab Recording.Make
shure the check box for enable cd recording on this drive
is checked. Hope this helps!!!! STUART.
