CD Writing Wizard - Will not start

When I write something to a CD from another program (for example, Quicken),
the icon pops up momentariy that shows that files are waiting to be written
to a CD. However, when I click on the icon, nothing happens (other than it
disappears). This will then happen again on a reboot of the machine...it
will say there are files waiting to be written, but if I click on the
"balloon", the message disappears and nothing happens. I know I can manually
copy the files over, but would like to avoid the steps and actually be able
to use the wizard.

Any thoughts on how to make it work again

Use a cheap third party program. "Record Now!" the basic version, costs very
little and would suit your purposes. I always find Windows own system doesn't
work very well.

I have what I believe is a better solution. I got a copy of
what is arguably the very best CD burning software for $5 on
Amazon.com.

It is Nero 6.6.

Don't get any earlier versions, but for some reason, you
can get Nero 6.6 or later DIRT cheap, and it's a MAJOR app.

Good luck!
