CD Write-Wizard Doesn't Recognize New CD-RW Disks

Hello,

I need to backup my hard drive before turning it in. I purchased a brandnew
stack of Memorex 4x CD-RW disks. I've seleced 500Mb of pictures that are
waiting in temp storage. When I tell it to write the temp onto the CD it says
that Either the CD is readonly or the disk is full. Any ideas?

Hi,

Click Help & Support, search on "erase CD", follow the steps in the only
article that results. This should prep the CDRW media for writing.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem as "Erase this CD-RW" does not
appear under CD Writing Tasks. Are there any circumstances where this would
not work?

Thanks,

Hi,

Click start/run, type services.msc and click ok. Scroll through the list and
locate the imapi burning service. Double click on it. It should be running
(the option to start the service is not available), and the startup type
should be set to automatic. Is it? If not, try setting it that way and make
sure on the recovery tab that the first action is set to restart the
service. If, however, you have or have had another burning program
installed, you may have a conflict.
