cd will not eject

every time I open an mp3 cdr or any other cdr that I have
burned myself, it will not eject. even if I use a paper
clip to open the drawer manually, then put in a different
cdr, windows still tells me the old cd is in the drive.
This does not happen with regular cd's, only cdr's that I
have burned myself. I thought it might be a problem with
the drive itself, but then I installed another cd drive
that I know to be ok, and I still have the same problem.
I've tried every setting I can think of, but nothing
seems to fix the problem.
Help!

Hi

What kind of burning software you are using
Have you tried to go to the control panel, right click on the CD rom or CD/RW and use the eject key
