CD=RW XP Nero

Ny CD burner is all messed up. Won't read the
availability of a disk in the cd-rw drive so it won't
write to a CD-RW. Used to work as drag and drop. NOw
won't work at all. Any help?

When did it "used to work?" Was this before installing XP? Do you have the
latest version of Nero. Drag and drop to disk requires packet writing
software be installed. Nero's component is called InCD, are you sure that
component is installed? If you have the latest version of Nero and InCD is
installed as well, have you tried removing Nero and reinstalling it?

I am using the latest version of InCD. Some Cd-RWs are
being read and written to. Other CD-RWs when put in
drive lock up the computer. My Computer screen will not
open. It just shows blank. I used about six discs of two
different mangufacturers and the same problem. The
computer frees up as soon as the eject button is pressed.
I can't format the discs because I can't get to right
click the drive because My Computer shows blank. By the
way, I don't have any prblems with CD-R's.

This is an issue for Nero tech support, www.nero.com, this is not an XP
issue.
