I did an update on my computer unrelated to my cd/rw.
Afterwareds I noticed my e drive will not eject, either
by use of the button or by right clicking on the e drive
and choosing eject.

I tried reinstalling XP to correct the problem which did
not. I tried to find restore but have been un-able. Help
explains all about how it works, but does not tell you
where to find it.

I did find system restore start - help/supprot. It does
not look as I remember it, I was thinking I found it
before on the control panel. When I tried using "system
restore" in help I got the following message. "the
procedure entry point
RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll."

Can any one help me
Richard

Look on the front of the tray there will be a small hole
you can stick a open paperclip in and trip it to open. it
can be hard to see .
