CD-RW & DVD drive problems

Autoplay doesn't work on my DVD-ROM drive or my CD-RW
drive. When I put a CD, Flight Simulator 2002 for
example, nothing happens. It used to load the setup
screen, but now it doesn't do anything. I know the drive
still works because I can browse through My Computer and
find the files on the CD. The same thing happens with my
CD-RW drive with regular CD's and blank CD-R's.

My other problem is that I can't use the Windows CD
writing wizard to create CD's. It always tells me to
instert a blank CD, but I already put one in. My CD-RW
drive isn't broken because I can use Nero to make CD's.

My DVD drive is a Pioneer DVD-117R and my CD-RW drive is
a HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8160B.

I am experiencing the same type of problem. Please let
me know if you find an answer. Thanks.

I fixed it. CloneCD caused the problem by turning off
auto insert notification. This is what caused my CD
writing problem. If you have CloneCD, go into settings
and enable auto insert notification. If you had it but
uninstalled it, you have to download it again, change the
setting. Then you can uninstall it again.
