CD-RW Drive

I am unable to view files that are on a CD in the CD-RW
drive. I am able to copy files to a CD, but cannot read
them. If I put the CD of newly copied files in another
computer, it reads them fine. I even tried an install CD
from a manufacturer, but am still unable to view files on
the CD. Where do I go from here?
 
i am having the same problem you are but i have a dvd-rw
it burns dvds views them but it will not write cds
occasionally it will do that but will not view any cd roms
or anything try an upgrade driver from the manufacture or
a firmware upgrade
 
try rebooting your machine with a known good data disc
left in the drive and see if it will read discs after that
