I Have a computer case that light up with the cd-rom light up but i add a new
cd-rw after i added that new cd-rw the light on the case will not turn on the
light works when trun on the computer the light comes on but for 1-2 sec what
can i do to fix this?

Make sure you have jumpered the drives correctly.
