We have a 390E thinkpad. Suddenly we can't copy data to
CDs. We can play audio but can't copy files. Help

The 390E didn't come standard with a CD burner in it. You've obviously
ordered it with an optional upgrade or since added a burner to it. What
model CD burner is in it?
What CD burning software do you use.

By "copy files" do you mean Explorer drag 'n drop kind of copy? If so, what
packet writing software are you using.

Please explain exactly what you mean by "can't copy files".
