CD ROM XP Professional

I can install new programs from CD but I cant browse
files on any CD. In Windows Exploer if I click in the CD
drive, as soon as I release the mouse button the
highlghted txt jumps up to Desktop.

Can anyone help? Cheers.
 
just a thought, right click with mouse and you should be
able to choose "browse cd"
