CD ROM Not working

Hello there;
I have a CD burner and a CD ROM installed in my PC. The
burner works fine. But my CD ROM doesn't. It doesn't read
any type of data. It appears with all my drives, it's
there but doesn't read anything. If I right click on it
I'm able to eject it and read properties, etc.
What can I do?

I had this problem with my old computer. I'm not sure

if this will work, but try setting the burner from master
to "slave" or from slave to master setting, and then move
your CD-ROM to whatever setting the burner was at. That
fixed the problem for me when my CD-ROm didn't work.
