CD ROM HELP

My CD ROM drives jsut stopped working one day. They open and close but
they do not read the disk. I did a troubleshooter and it says that
they are working properly. Any ideas on how to fix this or what is
wrong?

try going into the control panel and delete it...
then reboot...
it should reinstall and hopefully work

however it may have just plain died...
if so, a new one is not expensive...
maybe you can get a dvd burner now?
