Hello,
I need to completely disable all access to CD-Rom and floppy drives for any
user on XP Professional computers. Other than physically locking down the
front of the box, how can I accomplish this?

Thanks so much,
Aaron Neunz

You could also disable those drives in cmos and password protect the cmos
settings and make sure the cases are locked so that users can not try to reset
to default. There is a setting in Group Policy to disable access to a
combination of drives, however I don't think there is a combination that will
suit your needs and that policy is not 100 percent as users still may be able to
access drives through applications, etc. --- Steve
