Dear friends:
I have a XP home edition operating system, never have
this problem before, first my CD Rom drive don't auto
run, in my computer i double click on drive D the CD-Rom
drive. i always will have a dialog box saying:
D:\ is not accessible
incorrect function

and then somehow i saw this note which only appeared one
time since i have this problem and never saw it again:
window wrong volume
The wrong volume is in the drive.
Please insert volume WXHOEM_EN in to drive D.

I can't run any CD photo that i made, the same CD that i
was able to run and see the photo, music CD i only can
play it through the windows media player.it will not auto
run as it used to do before this problem.

device manager show this drive (This device is working
properly.)

i try to uninstall and then reinstall but it didn't work.

any ideas or suggestions, please

thank you.

I recently had this same problem.

Go to Windows Explorer and right click on the drive
causing this issue. Select Properties from the drop-down
list. Click the fifth tab - Recording. The "Enable CD
recording on this drive" checkbox should be checked (mine
wasn't).

Click apply and the problem should be resolved.
