CD ROM Autostart

hi all
normaly when u inssert a cd rom to the drive in XP there
is a dialog box that appers after inserting the CD and
asking u what u want to do next
open it
Dia show ect..
i dont get this dialog box any more
where or how can i fix it
in the reg the autorun pos is "1"

Open My Computer> Right Click On CD-ROM Drive>Properties>
Autoplay> Select Prompt me each time to choose an action>ok

I've found that if you install Roxio DirectCD you can no
longer activate Autoplay.

I've found that if you install Roxio DirectCD you can no
longer activate Autoplay.

This is common with many burning programs. It's done to minimize the
chances of a bad burn.
